Now's learnt that Katy Perry is so worried that husband Russell Brand will return to his old lothario ways while she's away on tour that she's started keeping daily tabs on him.
With her tour commitments taking up most of her time, the singer's had to spend weeks away from the comedian, 35, since they got married in October.
'Katy's usually a really chilled and no-nonsense kind of gal, which is why Russell fell in love with her,' a pal tells Now.
'But they've had a few tiffs recently after he joked he's more into gardening than having sex these days.
'Now Katy wants to know his every move, so she calls and texts him constantly. And when she does get through to Russell on the phone, she'll tell him that it's "just to hear your voice".'
Although that sounds perfectly sweet, our insider says things get problematic if Katy, 26, can't get hold of Russell within 10 minutes.
'Katy then starts calling Russell's friends and staff until he returns her calls,' adds our source.
'This has resulted in a series of rows and sometimes she'll even ask him to go on Skype to show her around his room, just to make sure there aren't any girls there with him.'
